Zoo in February? Yep, a day with sunshine and no wind or school is the perfect combination for a morning at the zoo. We took in the Wild Kingdom, Jungle and the Desert Dome before seeing an Imax movie about the sharks. About 20minutes into the movie, we had to leave because Capri was getting restless (happens rest about every time). Cooper and Camry didn't complain while we were packing up to leave which I am so thankful for, but once we got out of the theatre Cooper said, "Am I ever going to be able to see a whole movie?" Poor kid. Life is rough.
It is so nice to be able to just go for a couple of hours, but I do look forward to being able to walk the whole zoo and see many more animals. (and the aquarium is set to open back up in the Spring, too!)
He got to see a whole movie at his house on Saturday. But it probably wasn't the same, was it?
ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell you that he "scolded" me on Saturday for singing the ABC song too quickly when they were brushing their teeth. So not only did he have to instruct me to sing the song, he had to teach me to sing it slower!
All in good time, my dear. Mo(ses) will teach you all sorts of things you thought you either 1) already knew or 2) thought you didn't need to know.
